Bio: I am a recent graduate from the University of Ottawa, where I have graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Arts with a Specialization in English Literature and Minor in Rédaction professionelle et édition [Professional Writing and Editing], Cum Laude. I am currently a Data Editor for the Community Information Centre of Ottawa, where we manage the 211 service for Eastern Ontario. I would soon like to go pass the tests with the Editors' Association of Canada (EAC) in order to become a certified editor. My future career plans involve, hopefully, getting employed in the field of literary editing and/or publishing. Last year, I have had the pleasure of working with the selection committee at the Ottawa Arts Review. As much as I adored reading poetry, I would now like to focus my reviews on literature. While I am relatively new at reviewing books for an online audience, I am certain that my fellow literature-loving friends will read, and enjoy, my reviews.

  1. Wow this is so cool. It sounds like you’re pretty fond of editing. What draws you to it? Your passion for it is as strong as my passion for writing is. Please follow me 🙂 I’m following you.

    • Honestly, I’m pretty fond of writing! In case I couldn’t make it as a writer, I’ve begun to focus myself on editing since I often found myself poking at other people’s stories, finding flaws and always trying to improve a text. My classes have only intensified my passion. The rest is history! 😉
I’m definitely going to follow you. Thanks for the interest!
